Angels of Babylon was formed in 2008 when Rhino (ex Manowar) and singer David Fefolt began writing songs for a new record. They met bassist David Ellefson (Megadeth) in a recording studio, who was impressed by their material, causing these forces to unite and create a new vision of Heavy Metal. Add Berklee trained guitar virtuoso Ethan Brosh to the mix and the picture is complete. Emphasis is put on huge melodies but with a classic heavy touch. Hammering guitars, pounding drums, driving bass, and soaring vocals are the hallmarks of Angels of Babylon. The music runs the gamut between Progressive Metal to the roots of classic, old-school Heavy Metal, with every member of the band at the top of his musical game. For it’s U.S. release, Kingdom of Evil will be remastered and will feature bonus tracks newly created by Rhino and David Ellefson, which will be available nowhere else. (2010)
