Listening to 'Traced in Air,' it's clear this is the band who recorded the classic 'Focus' in 1993, and it's also clear that the band has been tightened in the 15 year layover, far smoother and more focused, resulting in a very listenable, flowing affair. The incredible riffs and solos are back, and the vocals are as unique as they were on the first album, but different. This is not the typical prog metal sound, and be thankful for that...this is great act of expression, an act of magic becoming music and vice versa. (2008)
