"The fourth career album that garnished Dark Tranquillity a Swedish Grammy nomination. ""One of the best examples of aggression and melody fused together,"" stated Brave Words & Bloody Knuckles. This album seethes with aspiring technical progression that is as modern as it is impacting, as aspiring as it is identifiable. A must-have. (1999)

Mikheal Stanne sings, oh noes!!!
The stand out track on this album is The Sun Fired Blanks because it's the only song on the album he doesn't use clean vox on. To a Bitter Halt was pretty good too though he does sing clean vox briefly. The female vox on track 3 was alright, but you might as well go for some Lacuna Coil or Nightwish if you're lookin' for that. Over all when Stanne sings in clean vox, he sounds really gay and it ruins every song he does it on for this album. I would definitely say Projector is one of their worst works ever.
