Formed by lead guitarist Eric Hersemann (Diabolic, Hate Eternal), Gigan is a heavy, psychedelic band with no musical boundaries. High-velocity and musical dexterity are focal points but never does the extremity overwhelm. They manage to propel the listener through solid song structures and trance-inducing, melodic soundscapes while never quite giving a sonic sense of security before the auditory bedlam begins again.
