After releasing several demos and EPs, this is the first full-length for the Finnish black metal band Goathemy. Frostland is cold, bleak and harsh, but it also very melodic. Goathemy's music has the blast beats you'd expect with black metal, but they also have some acoustic and mellower moments. Overall it's an effective balance of blasphemy and beauty. (2007)
