Spawned from the breakup of Napalm Death, Godflesh took their bow with Streetcleaner which took an altogether different approach to extremity and set up their Industrial strength urban sprawl sound with a bone crushing intensity. Bit of music trivia here, but besides the likes of Fear Factory, Metallica's Kirk Hammet, Pantera, Max Cavalera, Ministyry and SYL being massive Godflesh devotees. Streetcleaner has now been remastered and expanded as 2 disc version. Featuring 12 previously unreleased tracks on a second disc including unreleased live tracks, alternate mixes and demos all supplied and remastered by founding member J K Broadrick who also supplied extensive liner notes to this fantastic redux.
