Definitive Iced Earth

Wow. This album is made of pure awesome. Its hard to find an album quite as perfect as this. Most definitely Iced Earth's magnum opus.

This album is well balanced with slower tracks like "Watching Over Me" and an awesome instrumental "1776". The highlight is without a doubt "Birth of the Wicked"; a true metal masterpiece.

Barlow does a great vocal job on this album, as most always. Reminiscent of the God Halford at times.

If you're going to listen to only one Iced Earth album, this is the one.
