One Cold Winter's Night was recorded on February 11th, 2006 at the historic Rockefeller Musichall in Oslo, Norway. Kamelot enlisted renowned film and video director Patric Ullaeus to chronicle the night's events. Patric had a large crew of professionals and equipment including 18 cameras that would be used in and around the concert grounds. (2006)

Wow

In some cases, the songs on this live album sound better than their studio versions. I was really impressed with this release.

"Forever" and "Center of the Universe" really come alive on this album. A guest appearance by Simone Simmons for "The Haunting" is definitely cool.

My only complaint is "March of Mephisto". I love the studio version but this live one really blows.

Kamelot seems like it is one of those bands that can't be heard right until you hear them live. If you have a chance to see a concert by them, do not pass it up. I've seen them twice and they were great both times.
