Lake of Tears 2007 album "Moons and Mushrooms" already has fans and critics alike waiting with bated breath: Founded in 1992, Lake of Tears wrote groundbreaking albums in a Metal genre all their own. Starting out as a doom band, their album "Headstones" was a milestone that led to the albums "A Crimson Cosmos" and "Forum Autumn" marking the path that Gothic Metal took. The band split and stayed silent for two years only to return with the superb "Black Brick Road" in 2004 that combined classic guitar-driven heavy music with a vibe of darkness and depression.
