Martriden are a band from Montana, of all places, and this band cranks out some serious Death/Black mayhem. Martriden essentially sound like Behemoth, only a bit blacker, and not as blasty. If that sounds good to you, well it sounds pretty good to me too. This band is startlingly proficient and tight for a young act, and the production is really pro. This is heavy, crushing Blackened Death Metal with a killer guitar sound and some really cool riffs. (2007)
