The unbelievably tight thrashy metal album by American outfit Silencer is comparable to that of outstanding names such as Soilwork, Darkane, Mnemic or Fear Factory. The stellar lead guitar work, however, pulls the music in a more technical and traditional metal direction. Shredding solos and harmonized leads abound on Divisions. (2009)
