It's been over a decade since Syrach released their debut album. There have been a few demos over the years, but the Norwegian doom metal band has finally released their second CD. Days Of Wrath is heavy and oppressive, with downtuned guitars that deliver crushing riffs. Guitarist 8-Ball also throws in some more traditional metal style riffing and soloing as well. The songs are long, and the CD clocks it at over an hour. Syrach throws in enough variation and changes to keep things interesting. (2007)
