Tholus "Constant" is a modern aggressive technical Death Metal album reminiscent of the Death and Carcass era. Among standard death metal ingredients, Tholus enhance their sound with eerily thick harmonies, Jaco Pastorious-esque bass solos, gravity crushing vocals, throat singing and rhythmic ingenuity unsaturated by the default of todays endless blast beats. Members include Ex-Estradasphere drummer Dave Murray, Mirthkon/Flying Luttenbachers guitarist - Wally Scharold and Rob Pumpelley and a host of other session players from the Bay Area. Included in this list is Author/ Speaker Richard C Hoagland (Monuments of Mars, CBS, Angstrom Medal Recipient) who gave the band full rights to his material. (2006)
