Massachusetts Ambient/ Sludge Metal band Vygr (Voyager) has released Hypersleep. The end result is a heavy, spaced out metal record that actually sounds like it was played by human beings. A conscious effort was made to incorporate more intricate melody and dynamics, including sci-fi soundtrack ambience, 90s space rock elements, and plenty of delay-soaked guitar leads. This is the limited double LP on green and gold vinyl. (2011)
