Swedish "Witchcraft" belongs to the new generation of talented Scandinavian bands, which have a tendency to move towards metal. Witchcraft is an excellent debut album definitely influenced by Sabbath and with distinctive sound of the 70s - a great advantage. Music is good. Another plus: singing, perhaps not top rate, but still confident and it's singing! Not growling, grunting and belching - usually used to camouflage the lack of voice. The band started on the ashes of "Norrsken" in an attempt to produce just a tribute to Bobby Liebling of "Pentagram" Be Forewarned, but evolved into a very convincing and decent heavy metal act. Reissue. (2012)
