The fifth album of these Scandinavians is the first with new singer Legion (ex-Marduk, Devian). Witchkrieg is where Witchery, Jensen (The Haunted), Sharlee D'Angelo (Arch Enemy), Martin Axe (Opeth, Bloodbath) and Rickard Rimfält (Séance) greet a number of illustrious guests, among them Hank Sherman (Mercyful Fate), Gary Holt and Lee Altus (Exodus), Andy LaRocque (King Diamond), Jim Durkin (Dark Angel) and Kerry King (Slayer). As far as the style of music is concerned, Witchery go for the classic bands, the choice of their guests speaks volumes. Witchery mixes elements from Death, Black and Heavy Metal.

Outstanding!
This CD is up there with Exodus' as my best of the year (though Iron Maiden may have something to say about that). Every song grabs you and doesn't let go. The title track is a great starter and it simply keeps up the pace. Flat-out great album.

Great album
Another great album by Witchery!!

Heavy guitars, great riifs, nice vocals... The lyrics aren't so "terror" as before, but are good too.

Witch Hunter, From Dead To Worse, Devil Ride's Out are the top moments in my opinion.
