A total cult death metal relic. This album was probably overlooked upon its release in 1995, being on an impossibly small label and also coming a few years after the climax of the major U.S. death metal wave of the late '80s/early '90s. No matter, as Dark Descent have finally brought the album to the rightful attention it deserves. This Nebraska band played twisted, technical, diabolical death metal of a very high quality, and this reissue adds the tracks from their only other recording, 1993's 'Subspecies' demo. (2011)
